AURA & BEA began with two women who have always created in different ways.
Though our backgrounds look different, we realized we shared the same values: creating intentionally, appreciating craftsmanship, and making everyday products feel special.
We wanted to build something together that combined creativity with intention—products that felt beautiful, thoughtfully made, and something we would feel proud to use in our own homes.
Today, we have hand crafted vessels, hand poured candles and plans for future products!
AURA & BEA is more than a business to us. It’s a continuation of years spent creating together and chasing after dreams we both share.

I'm Barb — mother and one half of AURA & BEA.
I've always loved making things by hand. Years ago, that started with creating sewn goods and spending weekends at local craft shows, sharing pieces I had made and connecting with people through creativity.
Outside of AURA & BEA, I’m also a nurse—a role that has taught me the importance of care, comfort, and the small details that can make everyday life feel a little brighter.
I’m the creative side of our duo. I love the process of dreaming up ideas, working with my hands, and adding warmth and personality to everything we make.
I'm Laura — daughter, mother, and the other half of AURA & BEA.
I’ve always been the planner of the pair—the one who loves systems, details, and understanding how things work. With a Bachelor's degree in Biology and over eight years of experience in Toxicology, I developed an appreciation for thoughtful formulation and creating products with intention.
Starting AURA & BEA gave me the opportunity to combine that background with something more meaningful: creating beautiful, everyday products made with care. I wanted to build a collection that felt simple, elevated, and thoughtfully made—products we would feel good using in our own homes.
